December has rolled around again and it’s time for another holiday season. As usual, we have to come up with new and innovative presents for family and friends. This is why the children’s gift basket is such a great idea; it lets you display presents in a novel fashion, and in such a way that doesn’t have to break your bank either.

After portion 1 you will have to have closely everything you need. This article will finish the step by step instructions, and show you how easy and fun it may be to make a home-made gift basket! Now we may go on to the final step: embellishing the basket! Don’t forget to have galore colorful wrapping paper and tape on hand for the duration of the embellishing process.

Step 3 – Putting the Basket Together

This is the last step to fabricate that perfective children’s gift. Let’s use my niece’s basket as an example, but remember, you may be as originative with the person pieces as you want to be. For this peculiar gift I got a great deal of chocolate candies, a scarf and hat set, and a plush cat as the foundation, as this happens to be her favored animal. (Remember, it’s very easy to personalize these gift baskets). To begin with, get a great deal of red wrapping paper to lay on the bottom of the basket, and sprinkle a heap of of the candy over it, leaving a hole in the center for the plush cat. Next, put the stuffed animal in the basket, and try to position it so that part of it is hanging outside of the basket. This is more difficult if the stuffed animal you chose is in a lying position. In that case, try to raise the inside of the basket before placing the candy by folding in some more wrapping paper beneath the lining, so that the cat (or whatsoever animal you choose) is in an elevated position. Then place the candy around it.

Next, it’s time to include the hat and scarf. Because kid’s clothes are small, you may put the hat and the scarf on the stuffed cat, for a cute look. Obviously, I’m using winter accessaries because this is a winter holiday, but you may be originative depending on the season. For example, if you know a child who has a birthday in the summer, you could dress up the plush toy with a baseball hat, sunglasses, and a colorful necktie instead. Once everything has been placed, it’s time to finish decorating. For my basket to my niece I’m going to place a garland around the edges for galore extra holiday spirit, but you may be as originative as you like. To finish off, place the basket on a big piece of wrapping paper, and fetch the corners of the paper up to the top, and tie it all together with a huge red bow.

And your done! As you may see it doesn’t take much to make a actually outstanding present for kids, and you may even save a great deal of cash when you plan ahead. If you have assorted kids to get gifts for this may in truth work, because buying in bulk is many times cheaper. Buy a family sized bag of candy to use on all of the presents, or look for buy one get one 50% off deals. Many web sites even have buy one get one free deals on stuffed animals! As you may see, this is a outstanding way to get a fantastic gift, and still not break your budget!

4Perfect as a first tea set
By M. Michael
This is such a cute little tea set. A friend of mine bought this for my daughter’s first birthday. It is a perfect first tea set. Like the other reviewer mentioned, it is not meant to be used with liquids – which is perfectly fine with me! Less mess! The teapot is the cutest part… there are three different settings: one that just has cute sounds when you “pour” the tea, when you lift/close the lid, and when you press the “tag”. The other two settings have various sounds or music and songs that go along with the actions. My daughter is only 12 months old, so pretend play is still somewhat of a foreign concept to her. But we have fun exploring all the sounds the pot makes. She likes to “cheers” the tea cups with me, and she will “take a sip” from the cup and go “Ahhhh” at the end. I imagine she will grow into this toy a little more in the next few months!

UPDATE: Still a favorite toy at 27 months! She sings along with the teapot, and will set up all of her stuffed animals and offer them tea. It is just too cute. We have other tea sets, but she still gets this “pot” to pour since it makes all the sounds!

5LITTLE TEAPOT, SHORT AND STOUT!! TOO CUTE!
By Pamela A. Poddany
FISHER-PRICE LAUGH & LEARN TEA SET

What a wonderful toy for any child! We bought this play set for our two year old grand daughter. What fun she has with it. The teapot is very durable and plays music, teaches manners, shapes, all in a delightful English accent. When you pour from the pot you can hear the tea coming out. Or — you can shut the pot off and let your child use their own imagination. Which Paige does! She walks around ‘watering’ my plants and ‘refilling the dogs water dish’ with her tea pot. The tea pot has a sweet little face and comes in the favorite colors of many little girls, purple and pink.

Also included are two purple tea cups which do not hold water. And that is OK! Who needs the mess?

There is also a charming little plate with three desserts included. They are in three different shapes so little ones can learn how to place them correctly on the pink plate. Paige enjoys ‘serving’ us each a dessert or we have found them sitting on the kitchen table placed at everyone’s seat. Learning can be fun!

This is a sweet little tea set for any little girl who will be learning while having so much fun. Must go! Time for another tea party!

Thank you.

Pam

5Fun and Educational
By G. Abraham
This tea set was given to my daughter on her 1 year old birthday by my Aunt. At first she put it aside, but in about a month when the other toys had become “old” she pulled this one out. Now, 4 months later she still plays with it. She likes all the different modes with the songs, counting, etc… The tea pot is her favorite part and she quickly learned how to make it “pour” tea over and over. The sound is not so loud that it annoys the others in the room. It is a toy she will carry all around the house because it’s just the right size for her hands and for her to carry while walking. We LOVE this toy!
